한국 기상청에서 운영하는 앱으로 정부운영 패러다임인 정부3.0의 개방, 공유, 소통, 협력의 취지에 맞게 현지의 날씨나 기상정보를 기종에 상관없이 스마트폰을 통해 날씨를 제보하는 앱입니다.
제보정보와 함께 제보자의 위치를 자동으로 가져와서 한국기상청에 날씨를 제보하면, 제보된 내용을 한국기상청에서 확인하는과 동시에 본 앱을 통해 다른 사람이 제보한 정보까지 함께 확인 할 수 있도록 구현하였습니다.
국민이 스마트폰의 본 앱을 활용하여 직접 실시간 날씨 및 기상상황을 올리면, 이 데이터를 모든 국민이 스마트폰의 본앱을 통해 서로 공유하고,
정부 각 부처 간 자료 공유를 통해 고품질의 데이터를 생산하기 위한 참고자료로 활용하며,
여행사 또는 캠핑이나 레저관련 사업자와 같은 기상에 민감한 사업자들이 이 자료를 공유함으로써,
기상 자료를 활용한 사업의 확대를 모색함과 동시에 기상관측이 되고 있지 않는 지역의 기상상황을 파악하고 대처하는데 활용하기 위해 한국기상청에서 운영합니다.
